Wished I had read this volume before Sound Of Thunder! But this was a great "ah ha" read.

Having read Sound of Thunder a few years ago, it was great to find Volume 1 of the series. Love nearly all of Wilbur Smith novels. Although these are novels of fiction - I am sure they are based on historical facts regarding the socio-economic times they are written about.
